Don Diego’s Entertainment Group is a full service management company for multiple Hip Hop and R&B artists as well as producers in the same field.
We are currently looking for interns to assist us with our artist services and venue/event research associated with booking talent at venues around the world.
This is a commissioned based position paying 2%-3% on all confirmed bookings.
There will be a specific list of things to accomplish on a weekly basis. You will be working one on one with the owner and Head Manager who works very close with all the artists
Responsibilities will include contacting event organizers, researching venues across the globe that would be suitable for our artists, and general clerical duties. The internship offers an opportunity to make contacts and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and rapidly expanding music and entertainment industry and to improve general office and business skills. May work virtually via laptop.

Successfully placing DJs, Artist, Live PAs and bands in suitable venues around
the world. These venues should range from prestige venues, clubs, bars,
VIP sector, live music venues, arenas and festivals. Building up an artist’s
fees, liaising with management about PR, and generally aiding their
career in any way possible. Troubleshooting and dealing with any issues
that may arise before, during or after the performance. Negotiation of an
artist’s fee, booking fee and all expenses relating to the performance.
Filling dates in artists’ diaries, aiding clients to find suitable artists for their
venues. Planning tours and ensuring the logistical viability of them. Negotiating
with other agents, arranging exclusivity in certain territories for
certain artists and ensuring this is adhered to. Constantly sourcing new
talent and clients.

Don Diego’s Entertainment Group is an Creative PR Consulting & Brand Management agency, based in Connecticut.
As Business Affairs Manager you will be responsible for all legalities of our operation, including the creation of contracts (including master, publishing, license, sync), negotiations with third parties, legal optimization, trademarks, insurances and risk mitigation for artist and partner label(s). (with whom we share our office). You’ll work closely with the day-to-day and operation managers of the labels management staff and will report to our CEO.
Legal strategy: Working closely with our CEO to optimize the legal architecture of our businesses, collaboration with clients and affiliated companies.
Licensing strategy: Working closely with CEO to devise the optimal licensing strategy for Don Diego’s Entertainment Group, our management clients and licensing partners such as distributors, DSPs (Spotify, Apple) and publishers.
Legal operations: Creation, review, negotiation, execution and auditing of all contracts. These include master license agreements, publishing (title) agreements, collaboration agreements between artists, license deals to distributors, sync partners, advertising agencies, management agreements and more. Closely collaborating with legal representatives of our key partners as well as our external legal council.
Monitoring of agreements: Documentation of all contracts, their terms and durations in our legal software. Monitoring of durations and servicing of renewal or termination notices when due.
Trademark strategy: Working with our trademarking partner to ensure our companies and clients are properly trademarked for their activities in the relevant territories.
Guarding of rights: Monitoring the rightful use of our rights, serving cease and desist notices, issuing take-downs and applying further legal action if so required.
We are looking for someone who understands law, however do not require you to be a practicing lawyer necessarily.

Don Diego’s Entertainment Group is seeking hard working, eager-to-learn college students who are passionate about music for the Spring 2018 semester! We are accepting applications for the following roles:
Tour Marketing – work directly with our in-house marketing department to take part in the promotion and marketing of upcoming shows through grassroots efforts, social media maintenance, research, database maintenance, and more! Join a team full of creative types working together to put out a meaningful message in a cohesive package.
Graphic Design/Digital Media Marketing – work with our digital media and tour marketing departments to produce artwork for various platforms. Projects include web banners, Facebook artwork, One sheets, concert posters/flyers, and more! Get the opportunity to create professional digital designs for an array of artists, genres, and mediums. Perfect your skills at catching the eye of the masses while gaining the experience of meeting deadlines and taking part in campaigns you can add to your portfolio!
Day-to-Day Artist Management/Administration – work directly with our day-to-day artist managers and assist with long term projects to include record releases, album distribution analysis, sponsorship research, award show logistics, tour and travel logistics, donation packages, music video production, and more! Get face time with the bosses and impress them with your go-getter attitude while learning valuable skills and meeting interesting people!
Office Management/Administration – work alongside the office manager to help make this whole thing run smoothly.
Work side by side aspiring artist to manage full business desk and operations.
This person must be outgoing, looking to network in the local art community and enhance a brand.
Ability to work in Dropbox, square space, icloud, and any additional resources and tools would be encouraged.

Interns get to be immersed in an environment containing many aspects of the industry, whereas most other artist management companies don’t have the plus of working in the same building as their marketing or merchandise counterparts. Everything we put out is that much better since it comes from one all-inclusive, collaboratively operating building.
Get the opportunity to work client-related events for pay, such as merch booths at concerts.
You’ll be treated fun events: every few weeks we will host a “Lunch & Learn”, where a speaker or two is brought in from various parts of the music biz to host an informative lunch and Q&A with the intern group. We also conduct a large ‘job well done’ celebration at the end of each semester, usually consisting of some sort of nice dinner, and a concert.
